About Us
Immigrants from Latin America weaving cultural networks in Leipzig.
🌱 Our Story
We are the CANTA PUEBLO Initiative, a group of five people: immigrants from Spanish-speaking America residing in Leipzig.
We are driven by the spirit of promoting and celebrating culture in all its manifestations.
Through cultural events organized with great appreciation for folklore and its roots, we want to provide a space for artists of other languages to share their talent and passion with the local community.
Join us as we explore the music, dance, and arts of peoples from all corners of the world!
👁️ Our Vision
In our project, we believe in the importance of preserving and spreading the cultural roots of the peoples of the Americas in European lands.
Canta Pueblo was born with the desire to recreate the warmth of traditional peñas: a gathering place where music and dance remind us of our origins and connect us with the community in Leipzig.
